About the Founder

Originally from New York City, now residing in South Florida, Crista Marie is an entrepreneur with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance, also licensed in the state of Florida as an advanced digital photographer. Crista has extensive experience in portrait photography, which includes but is not limited to, her experience working as a photographer for Walt Disney World in 2022. The birth of What A Natural Photography came from understanding the demand for affordable, accessible, and high quality headshots and portrait photography, especially within the performance industry. Since founding WhatANatural in 2020  she has photographed an expansive range of clients, from young children in their first every musical, to some of the most accomplished and seasoned performers in South Florida! Although her original intention was to focus solely on headshot photography, she has now expanded her range of clients to include couples sessions, family portraits, boudoir, events,  pets, & even products! As WhatANatural Photography flourishes, Crista Marie hopes to develop and sustain positive, lasting relationships with her clients built on honesty and integrity!
