Cancellation Policy

A retainer of the agreed upon Payment Amount upon the execution of this Agreement in which 50% of payment is inclusive of as a non-refundable deposit. Payment of the Retainer is necessary to secure Photographer’s availability upon the Session date. If the Session does not take place on the Session Date, Photographer(s) will incur losses that are difficult to estimate. In the event that the Session is canceled/ changed to a different time, date, or place, or postponed within 48 hours of the agreed upon session. You agree to notify Photographer in writing and to forfeit the Retainer to said Photographer as liquidated damages. If you have made your Final Payment, Photographer agrees to return Final Payment to You. If You wish to reschedule the Session, Photographer may require a new Photography Agreement to be signed, which may include new terms or a new Payment Amount. If such agreement is reached before the scheduled Session Date for a new date within 7 days of original Session Date, this Agreement remains in effect as amended in writing for the new Session Date. If Photographer cancels the Session and no Agreement is reached for a new Session Date, Photographer’s liability is limited to the return of all payments made by You. You and Photographer agree that neither party will defame or criticize the services, business, integrity, honesty, or personal or professional reputation of the other in connection with this Agreement or its cancellation. Any remaining balances for this photography service will be due on the date of scheduled appointment. Payment is considered complete when the Photographer receives the full balance via venmo, zelle, cash, credit, or valid check. Note that payment via credit card incurs an additional $5.00 service charge and is not preferred.
